Three are optional superbosses far above the main story: The Freeze, The Ember and Kaeleth, the Last Vessarim. No quest makes you kill any of them. Each guards something nothing else carries.

The Eventide Colosseum
Deep in Vesperion, the Colosseum pits you against three arena beasts. They are the toughest fights in the realm, but they give no XP and drop nothing, and losing only puts you back outside the door. Glory, and nothing else.
