Foraging

Woodcutting wants an axe. Mining wants a pickaxe. Foraging wants a hand. Shake a bush, pick a mushroom ring, dig a river bank: any level, no tool, just a free inventory slot.

Foraging pays no XP on purpose. The reward is the item, and the items are wanted elsewhere: home cooking, the spinning wheel and the kiln all run on them. See Homes & Farming.
