The Freeze
The Freeze is a level 151 undead found in The Hoarfrost Deep. It is a boss, and always hostile. It fights hand to hand, so spells have the edge on it and a bow is at a disadvantage.
It holds the frozen hall at the bottom of the Hoarfrost Deep, beneath the ruined city north of Vesperion. You find it only by going looking.
Fighting it
A soldier the deep cold took and never released. Nothing of the man is left: rime has grown over the plate and become the body, crowned in ice and split open on a cold white heart. It carries a greatsword of ice and has icicle talons for a left hand. It fights only in melee, and every blow lands like a hammer.
Preparation: About as hard as The Ember. Bring your best gear and a full load of food.
You reach it through The Hoarfrost Deep.
