Pit lurker

The pit lurker is a level 65 beast found in tier 3 runs from Dormant's Rest. It attacks on sight. It fights hand to hand, so spells have the edge on it and a bow is at a disadvantage.

Fighting it

It hits up to 16 and has 140 hitpoints. It notices you from about 4 tiles away, and it stops bothering you once your combat level is more than double its own. A kill is worth 691 XP, split across the combat skills you used.

It appears in generated runs at tiers 2 to 4, with one form per tier, each larger and stronger than the last.
