Giant bat
The giant bat is a level 11 flyer found in Meadow Mine, The Deep Mine, The Coronmar Sewers and The Ember Court. It attacks on sight. It fights hand to hand, so spells have the edge on it and a bow is at a disadvantage.
Fighting it
It hits up to 3 and has 20 hitpoints. It notices you from about 6 tiles away, and it stops bothering you once your combat level is more than double its own. A kill is worth 80 XP, split across the combat skills you used.
