Shadow knight

The shadow knight is a level 65 humanoid found in The Old Keep and Thornwall. It attacks on sight. It fights hand to hand, so spells have the edge on it and a bow is at a disadvantage.

Fighting it

It hits up to 17 and has 130 hitpoints. It notices you from about 7 tiles away, and it stops bothering you once your combat level is more than double its own. A kill is worth 700 XP, split across the combat skills you used.
