The deep stalker is a level 116 beast found in Emberhold, The Low Court, Vaultheim and Gloamspire. It attacks on sight. It fights hand to hand, so spells have the edge on it and a bow is at a disadvantage.
Fighting it
It hits up to 25 and has 340 hitpoints. It notices you from about 10 tiles away, and it stops bothering you once your combat level is more than double its own. A kill is worth 2,600 XP, split across the combat skills you used.
