Cinder hound

The cinder hound is a level 81 beast found in The Ashen Cellar. It attacks on sight. It fights hand to hand, so spells have the edge on it and a bow is at a disadvantage.

Fighting it

It hits up to 21 and has 185 hitpoints. It notices you from about 7 tiles away, and it stops bothering you once your combat level is more than double its own. A kill is worth 1,000 XP, split across the combat skills you used.
