Ice Cataclysm

A cataclysm does not pick favourites: the ice bursts on impact, striking every monster within 2½ tiles of the target. Up to 5 more victims, each rolled and frozen on its own.

Freezes the target where it stands. The freeze holds for 20 seconds, and for 30 seconds after it thaws the same target cannot be frozen again. Ice still does its damage in that time, but it does not hold. Bosses are never held. They take the damage and keep moving.

• Tide sigil: sold at Elowen's Hedge Magic, Eldric's Arcane Emporium and Yara's Alchemy House. Tide staff supplies it free
• Wisp sigil: sold at Yara's Alchemy House, Zara's Forbidden Wares and The Gilded Arcanum
